STRENGTHENING INDIVIDUALS. FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES

Workshops/Conferences

ABK Wellness Consulting
The ASK Workshop is the only suicide prevention workshop that specifically addresses suicide risk in children and teaches developmentally appropriate strategies and tools.

Without help, children thinking of suicide may become teens who act on those thoughts.

By attending The ASK Workshop participants will:
  • Learn about the risk factors and warning flags signaling that a child may be at risk of suicide.
  • Practice using an evidence based brief screening tool that anyone can use to match a child who needs support or help to the most appropriate helper.
  • Benefit from working with a group of passionate and experienced colleagues who share their unique perspectives.
  • Learn from an experienced facilitator using current wisdom from clinical practice and published research.
The ASK Workshop is an evidence-informed and highly interactive suicide prevention training using informative videos, mini-lectures, and group discussions. Applying and practicing as you learn with case studies and guided simulations. You will leave with tools and templates you can integrate into your practice immediately.
