The Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW) is mandated under the Social Workers Act to regulate and govern the profession of social work.  SASW’s primary mandate is to serve and protect the public interest.  In pursuit of this mandate SASW engages in activities to regulate and promote the profession to support competent and ethical social work practice. SASW members are found across the province, working in many areas including health care, schools, community organizations, government departments, First Nations agencies, and in private practice.  SASW members are committed to helping individuals, families, groups and communities to enhance their individual and collective well-being.
